Sergio Castrejon
Director of Technology
Sergio Castrejon serves as a Board Member for InfraGard San Antonio and is an accomplished cybersecurity and information technology professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting critical infrastructure, financial institutions, and enterprise technology environments.
Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Analyst for Jefferson Bank, Sergio specializes in cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, security monitoring, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction initiatives. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in developing security programs, leading remediation efforts, coordinating security audits, supporting penetration testing activities, and strengthening organizational cyber resilience.
Prior to focusing on information security, Sergio held progressive technical and leadership roles with organizations including Jefferson Bank, AT&T, IBM, Citi, USAA, and World Savings, building extensive expertise across cybersecurity, systems administration, networking, telecommunications, and enterprise support.
Sergio holds multiple industry certifications, including the CompTIA Security+ and ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC). He is also a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy.
In addition to his role with InfraGard San Antonio, Sergio has served in several technology leadership positions within professional organizations, including Director of Technology for InfraGard San Antonio, Director of Communications for Alamo ISSA, and Director of Technology for District 2 of the Texas Bankers Association. He is passionate about advancing cybersecurity awareness, fostering public-private partnerships, and helping organizations strengthen their defenses against evolving cyber threats.
